New office, new possibilities…

Arriving at Berkeley, getting settled in the apartment with the garden and all. Taking the first battles and challenges in the “Land of the free” with the many many choices.. hard to choose though. Finally got started with work also, at least started to get started. First meeting with new boss and group, super fun! New labs, new possibilities but also challenges.

The new office building, being built on rubber rings for earthquake protection and being the Hearst family’s mining memorial building feels very honourable and I am very grateful to see new places.

Also went to my first ever tailgating experience, though Berkeley-style, and first ever Am. Football game watching our Cal Golden Bears! Go Bears! They won and now have 3-0! Great! The event is so ful of joy and positive vibes, something to take with to European much more aggressive football games… see image for the amazing surrounding!
