Just participated in this years Forskarskolan i Karlskoga (Research school - A Science Camp in Sweden) Going Virtual due to the Pandemic situation. This is my video, sharing my passion around forest research and my background to the students (IN SWEDISH)…
New video! This time, when settled in Berkeley, ordering many things online via home delivery would seem as a great chance to evaluate how it works and which materials that are used. Of course many cardboard and paper materials, but still bulk is plastic from oil, how do I know, well it is hard but today there is still very little production on renewable based ”drop in” plastics. ”Drop in” describe where the same material is produced, such as polyethylene (PE), but from a renewable source for example sugar residues than goes to ethanol and further on. But this video is about how design is everything, from the plastic materials constituents itself to the construction and final packaging materials etc. Take a look! It is of course wanted to carry things on a bicycle from a thrift shop with your own bags etc instead of ordering online. But let this example be a case of materials dicussion not my total carbon footprint.
My first educational video directly from my Swedish balcony.. talking about the beauty of renewable materials on your balconies..
